- Go to a good wine shop and ask for a great wine for 10 dollars or less. Then you can buy them 5 bottles. I did that last year, and, believe it or not, there are some mighty fine 10 dollar wines.
Oh. lots of possibilities. ... ... You could buy bottles of wine or gift baskets. Here is one site that sells those. ... http://www.wine.com/giftcenter/ ... ... Or you could buy them one of the MANY accessories that exist. The Wine Enthusiast sells those. ... http://www.wineenthusiast.com/ ... ... Hope they enjoy the gift.
- How about a nice decorative cast iron wine rack. :)
- WINE. And one need not spend all that much for a good bottle of wine. Get an assorted gift basket of wines, cheeses, nuts and grapes at a wine shop
The Golden State has not been a bargain playground over the last decade or so, but there are still values to be found. Many of the syrah blends and petite sirahs made in California continue to be priced correctly and stand out in a sea of overpriced cabernet and merlot. ... For me, the Jaffurs Bien Nacido ($18-$22) and Longoria ($15-$20), both from Santa Barbara, and the Zealer Bolero ($13-$18) are knockouts. Cuvee Le Bec blend from Beckman ($10-$14) resembles a good Chateaneufdu-Pape. For petite sirahs, I love the Trinitas Old Vines from Lodi ($14-$18). The Vinum Cellars Pets ($8-$12) and Concannon (the first house to varietally label petite sirah) at about $9 are two of the best lower-priced reds I can think of. ... ... Hope this helps.;-)
- A corkscrew.
